I have a great passion and desire to share yoga with the world. I believe that helping to bring balance and harmony to one's body, mind and spirit is a remarkable gift. I began my yoga journey 7 years ago with restorative yoga, continuing on to vinyasa flow and finally ashtanga/mysore. With my daily strengthening of body, mind and spirit, I could not help but
share my amazing discoveries.

My teaching style and persona is traditional and begins with compassion for the body, mind and spirit, compassion for the whole person. I am a fan of Pantanjali and his eight-limbed path of yoga, i am delighted with his philosophy, learning to control the restlessness of the mind to bring peace. The Yoga Sutras are a big part of my life, and a gift i wish to radiate to others. I also enjoy the study of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, sadhana is visible in my daily life, on and off of the mat. I have chosen to pursue a Certificate of Yoga Philosophy from LMU, which includes an in-depth study of some of my favorite treasures, the Yoga Sutras, the Upanishads, and the Bhagavad Gita.

Dynamic & Personal Teacher

I started practicing with Rebecca locally while she was finishing her teacher training. She is an extremely engaged instructor, always finding time to give hands-on personal attention to attendees. She is very helpful and quick to propose gentle modifications to beginners and those who have injuries. I enjoy working with her as she does truly take a progressive approach and you do feel like you are building and growing your practice each time you come to your mat. Rebecca is also intensely dedicated to her own personal practice and that shines through in her teaching.

The best instructor I have practiced with!

Rebecca was one of the first instructors that I began to practice with. In my process of learning, I tried about 10 different instructors, but kept coming back to Rebecca's classes and looking forward to her classes. Each class has a progression and a goal. Her classes flow, but she is extremely detail oriented so we will hold poses as she corrects each student. You are confident that you are learning proper technique and averting any injuries. I leave Rebecca's classes exhausted, but always with a smile b/c I know next time I go to my mat, I know I am ready for her next progression - or at least getting there :)
