Rebecca Halls is a yoga teacher, professional dancer and hula hoop artist from Vancouver Island, Canada. Her yoga teaching journey began 2007 with Canadian yoga innovator Hart Lazer in his hybrid Ashtanga-Iyengar year long Teacher Training Certification. With continuing education internationally in Iyengar, Acro Yoga, Anusara, Jivamukti and Vinyasa Flow and studies with Dharma Mittra in New York, Rebecca has developed a teaching style that is truly her own. Rebecca's class is a dynamic tapestry inspired by the structure and intelligence of Ashtanga, the wisdom and alignment of Iyengar and the creativity and playfulness of Anusara. Guided by her lifelong study of the body, Rebecca’s students flow through methodically chosen sequencing with regular practice of advanced postures and inversions including deep hip opening, arm-balancing, back-bending, meditation and pranayama. Alongside yoga, Rebecca works a choreographer and dancer, and is a certified GYROTONIC® instructor.
