A former ballet dancer, I found yoga over a dozen years ago and enjoys the benefits of strengthening, stretching and the relaxed effort that comes with a mindful yoga practice.
As a teacher, my goal is to empower my students to find the same path to peace that I have discovered through yoga. Get ready to feel nurtured yet challenged physically, in a class that balances a focus on alignment with mindfulness in a creative, playful flow.
Although my full-time gig is as a nonprofit consultant, my passions beyond work and teaching yoga include writing poetry, photography and of course dance.
I have my Masters in Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree from UMass Amherst. I am certified as a 200-hour RYT and received her training at Thames Street Yoga in Newport, RI.
