Bio: Rebecca was aware, after her first yoga class, that yoga was more than just a good workout, a great stretch as well as being very challenging, exhilarating and calming. Over time, she came to the realization that yoga would become a permanent part of her life. After that initial class, she knew she wanted to learn as much as possible and started her learning journey eventually leading to teaching and sharing her passion for yoga with others. Rebecca started by committing to a daily, personal yoga practice along with reading the classical yoga texts from the many facets of yoga. After three years of daily practice, she decided to go to yoga school; with no thought of teaching but just wanting to learn as much as possible. After completing her initial teacher training, Rebecca started to teach yoga to her friends and realized she loved to teach.
Today, Rebecca continues her chosen path to learn as much as she can, teaching yoga to all that are willing, and continues her yoga education through annual yoga intensives and ongoing, varied teacher trainings. In her classes, Rebecca focuses on the physical (asana) practice, incorporating alignment and meditation as well as bringing fun, music and joy. Rebecca has been teaching yoga for 10 years and continues to share her passion to bring yoga to all.
