I fell in love with yoga after my very first class 10 years ago, and since then, I have not been able to live my life without it. With a 20 year background in dance and gymnastics, my yoga practice reconnects me with my inner dancer by allowing me to strengthen my body, free my mind, and express creativity. My love for yoga has since grown to help me find balance, positivity, and peace in every aspect of my everyday life. As an avid runner and two-time Boston Marathon finisher, my yoga practice improves my ability to run, my endurance and breathing, and helps to keep me injury free.
In 2004, I began my power yoga practice under Richard Lanza of Open Doors Yoga. Nine years later in 2013, I received my 200 hour RYT certification through David Vendetti and Todd Skoglurd of South Boston Yoga.
Yoga's ability to foster individual growth and build community inspires my teaching. I believe that everyone is a dancer on their mat and promise to teach every class with joy, respect, a bit of humor, and always with a purpose. I am confident my love and passion for yoga will allow me to honor my commitment to each and every practice.
