Rhondda first encountered yoga while completing her BA in dance at York University, and continues to make both asana and movement part of her practice. Yoga led her to the Dharma and meditation, and together they are an essential foundation in her life today as a family person and professional.
Rhondda has held a regular asana practice since 1999, in the Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Tibetan Heart Yoga and Lady Niguma’s Yoga traditions. Since 2006, she has maintained a daily meditation practice, and continues formal studies in the lineage of the Dalai Lamas under the guidance of her heart teacher. In 2010, she discovered Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms, a meditative dance practice for sweating your prayers.
Rhondda completed the 250 hour Evolving Spirit Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Sanctuary. She is also certified to teach Pre & Post Natal Yoga through The Yoga Sanctuary.
Rhondda teaches yoga, meditation and Dharma across the GTA, and regularly produces meditation, Dharma and yoga events with visiting teachers. She is also a former Studio Manager of The Yoga Sanctuary's Danforth location.
