My yoga mission is to try and make the traditional yoga teachings of India accesible to the people in my immediate community and to my wider online students.
So many people are suffering physically, emotionally and mentally in our communities and yoga has so many wonderful techniques to contribute towards healing these problems.
I like to focus my classes around bringing as much awareness to the practice as possible. Aware of the physical body, the breath, emotions and thoughts. This awareness can lead to powerful transformative effects at all levels of our being.
I teach a traditional hatha yoga style class, consisting of asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), relaxation and meditation.
