I did my first yoga class when I was 18. My mother took me along - she thought it would help me with the terrible nerves I suffered with whenever I had to perform (I was studying music).
These classes were with a student of the legendary Margrit Segesman - who established Gita Yoga in Melbourne way back in the 1950s.
Little did I know where these early classes would take me.
Many years and jobs and lifetimes later I took up yoga more seriously, and have been teaching for coming on to 12 years now.
I have worked and studied with many wonderful teachers including Donna Farhi, Paul Wooden, Judith Lasater, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, and more recently have been exploring the field of Somatics.
