I have been a committed meditation and yoga practitioner for nearly 15 years. I earned my Yoga Alliance Certification under Senior Para Teacher, Mary Bruce. I have also studied Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Restorative yoga as well as Vipasana meditation/Buddhist mindfulness. I have been blessed to be a guest facilitator for teacher trainings and have led numerous retreats and workshops.
In addition to teaching yoga, I am a personal development and spiritual psychology coach, energetic body worker, Ordained Minister through First Cherokee Nation, writer, motivational speaker, mother, and nature lover that wants to help you connect and restore your true nature, inside and out.
I am currently pursuing my Masters in Counseling and Psychology with an emphasis in somatic mind-body practices, Eco-therapy and ritual. My undergraduate degree is in Justice Studies and I am forever an enthusiastic activist for peace, justice, social change, and environmental protection.
I volunteer at the Phoenix Veterans hospital teaching meditation, mindfulness, and restorative yoga to Marines in recovery. I also volunteer as a motivational speaker on women’s empowerment for various non-profit organizations, am an advocate and speaker for Melanoma support groups and education, and work with Arizona wildlife organization preserving the desert and its wildlife.
I encourage you to believe in yourself; to accept, honor, and recognize your ability to create a peaceful, powerful, and meaningful life that is built on the integrity and wisdom of your authentic intentions.
