Robin Styba has been a qualified yoga teacher since 2002 from the Yoga Studio under the guidance of Michael Siddall, Hali Schwartz, Christine Cinq-mar and Janet Lemon. I am in constant search of new inspirations and take workshops and an assortment of movement class to stay informed and make each of my classes playful, informative and peaceful. I have over 375 hours of training from the Yoga Studio and 40 plus hours pre post natal from Ester Myers and other workshops. I adore movement; I have had the privilege of working with Sandra Shields as my Classical Pilates teacher for over seven years and trained under Susie Dias to obtain my Classical Mat Pilates I and II Certificate.
My background is in figure skating as a child, which is when I began to make shapes to counter balance and bring the body back to a harmonious place. When I hung up my blades, I moved into the dance studio and studied under Debbie Wilson. Always active and maintaining a practice in yoga combined with long distance running and horseback riding. My current yoga practice has taken me to experience Anusara, flow, hot, Vinyasa and ballet sculpt. I strive to bring playfulness and mindfulness to each class and student. To me teaching is about sharing the knowledge that has been imparted on me, my students are my teachers.
