I attended my first yoga class in my early twenties and have been going to different types of classes over the years on a regular basis. Although I was going to classes, it wasn’t until 2006 that I really connected with Yoga and felt the true benefits.
I found stillness in breath and movement this was the gift of yoga for me. It gave me the ability to remain steady and strong in some stormy times.
From then on I felt a strong need to go deeper in my practice and I started practicing at home and going to yoga and meditation workshops. Yoga has given me so much and for that I am very grateful. Yoga, heals, nourishes and challenges us. The practice infiltrates every corner of our lives.
The style of yoga I teach is Vinyasa Flow (Breath Synchronised Movement) and Yin Style (longer holding of classic poses). I am very excited to be sharing the gift of Yoga and teaching in Zen Zone. In my Beginners Vinyasa Class you will be taught the foundation principles of level 1 yoga postures (Asana), yoga breathing and meditation.
