These core components are incorporated into an asana flow that is interwoven with key teachings from yoga philosophy, focusing on the eight-fold path. She uses music, poetry, dance, and hands-on assist to make classes fun and challenging while emphasizing careful attention to alignment. The practice is challenging, yet each individual is encouraged to find an intensity that is mindful to their own unique combination of vinyasa, intensity, and teaching makes a Romy Yoga class like no other. In addition to teaching yoga and other group fitness classes, Romy offers private yoga instruction, kids’ yoga, instructs athletes on the benefits of yoga by giving workshops at sports camps, and is a certified personal trainer.
