Rosalind came into yoga after years of intensive training in rowing and long distance running; unfortunately her fiercely competitive nature led to overtraining and finally resulted in a knee injury. It was clearly time to start yoga! She tried a hot yoga class and was soon hooked enough to stop battling on the treadmill and dedicate herself to her yoga practice. When her job as an English teacher took her to Malaysia, Rosalind started visiting Bali on a regular basis and it was here she found herself in a Forrest Yoga class using core muscles she never knew existed. This was the start of a true romance - both with Bali and Forrest Yoga! Having suffered from low problems and sciatica, Rosalind fell in love with Forrest Yoga, finally realizing that a physically intense practice could also provide the healing she very much needed. She finally plucked up the courage to make the leap from a stressful management job to yoga teaching by training in Yoga and Energetics with Cat Kabira in Bali, studying Forrest, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga and CranioSacral therapy. A few months later, after taking workshops with Ana Forrest in Singapore, Rosalind was inspired to take the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training in Peterborough in 2012. Since then Rosalind has taken the Forrest Advanced teacher training with Ana in Denver, and has just completed her Forrest yoga mentorship under Forrest Guardian Sandra Heider.
Rosalind currently teaches in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Cambridge and also works as a CranioSacral therapist. When she’s not upside down Rosalind also writes a blog on her website She looks forward to connecting you to your core and beautiful breath!
