Roseann Latona, RYT is an experienced, caring instructor with over 14 years of experience teaching yoga. Roseann has taught numerous levels and varieties of Hatha Yoga, including beginning, intermediate, and advanced yoga, prenatal yoga, children's yoga, and private yoga therapy.
Roseann focuses on classical yoga postures, and in the process she places special emphasis on breath awareness and quiet attention to subtle aspects of one's body and its alignment. This dual emphasis encourages healthy habits and traits in both mind and body, habits and traits that are conducive to one's everyday life outside of the yoga classroom. These include better mental concentration, an improved sense of quietude, and increased bodily strength and flexibility. This method has proven beneficial to those who suffer from chronic illness such as all cancers, MS, Parkinson's disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and many other chronic illnesses.
