Rosie Fell in love with Yoga initially as a recovery tool for the strenuous triathlon life, which she was heavily part of from her late teens to late twenties. There was just something about a yoga class which could make even the most hectic times or strenuous training sessions melt away. She travelled to America initially to train under Jimmy Barkan (Hot Yoga) and subsequently completed her 500hr in India, studying Hatha and Ashtanga. Rosie's teaching style incorporates her love of anatomy and alignment, influenced by her 12 years in the health and fitness industry as a Massage therapist, Personal Trainer and Physiotherapist; but she is also extremely passionate about the non-physical side of yoga. "Yoga is more than movement. It is a connection of mind and body, of our selves to the greater environment, and is the embodiment of possibility." Rosie is a positive body image advocate, and is passionate about spreading the message that yoga is an amazing way to come to self acceptance, to find self confidence, respect, and live a life of higher possibility. Rosie is available for private yoga and yoga therapy in addition to scheduled classes.
