I began doing yoga over ten years ago as a way to alleviate my chronic backand neck issues - I can truly understand where you are coming from! I quickly became a yoga enthusiast because it helped with my my problems and because it helped me with problems I didn't even realize I had! I have since trained in various styles of yoga which enables me to draw upon a broad knowledge and find the best way to help each of my students. My teacher certifications include Moksha Yoga International (500 hrs), Bija Hot Yoga (500 hrs), Restorative Yoga, Flow Yoga, Advanced Yoga, and Yin Yoga along with diverse yoga teacher workshops with renowned yogis such as Judith Lasater and Dr. Ray Long.
I strive to make yoga more accessible. I break down the postures into basic steps and add details so each student can add the layers they need to the postures. I believe in yoga - it is a great form of self-therapy for the body and the mind. :)
