Sally Parkes BSc,EYT, SYT has a background in health and fitness as well as a degree in Sports ans Exercise Physiology. She has been teaching since 1998 and runs 200 hour yoga teacher training programs in Hatha, Vinyasa, Pre and Post-natal Yoga in the UK, Spain Dubai and the Netherlands. She presents and upbeat master classes and workshops at well-being conferences including The Yoga Show and YogaFest Amsterdam, and writes regular yoga related articles for Ultra Fit, Yoga Magazine and Om Magazine. Sally is also author of best selling book 'The Students Manual of Yoga Anatomy' and is a book editor for publications such as ‘The Healing Yoga Bible’.
With a back ground in Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga, Sally’s style of yoga teaching is flowing and strong but allows time for the practitioner to align themselves and maintain steady breathing. She has also studied extensively with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, a leader in the field of women’s health, and draws from this knowledge when teaching pre and post-natal yoga. Sally teaches in London and internationally and is based in Worthing, West Sussex.
