My love affair with yoga began in my early twenties and has grown, developed and deepened as the years roll on by. I undertook my initial teacher training course at the Australian Yoga Academy in 2009 . I feel especially blessed to have the opportunity to share yoga's amazing benefits with others in the local community.
My style is dynamic Vinyasa yoga, connecting the breath with the physical movement to create a moving meditation. I encourage students to focus on breath and alignment while incorporating dynamic music, gentle adjustments, to cultivate a sanctuary that strengthens and nourishes mind, body and spirit.
I am influenced by the teachings of Jivamukti, Baron Bapiste as well as having the privilege of being a student under Nicky Knoff, Duncan Peak, Simon Borg-Olivier and Donna Farhi as well as being inspired by my wonderful teachers in Melbourne.
Most importantly, I like to explore ways to take yoga off the mat and into our every day lives – as this is when and where the real yoga happens!
