Samantha started practicing yoga regularly in 2000 when she was looking for something more than working out in a gym. In 2002 she started racing heavily as a road cyclist and also coaching for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. At that time she also studied and trained to be a fitness and yoga instructor, teaching bootcamp, circuit training, spin and Hatha yoga. There was no limit to challenging herself as a teacher. She loves sharing her love of physical fitness and her connectedness to the earth.
In amongst all the busyness of life, yoga is where Samantha always came back to, ultimately that kept her grounded. While her yoga training is based in the physical fitness certification world, she's found a love at teaching Vinyasa and Ashtanga types of yoga to beginners, intermediate and experienced students alike.
Originally from the Gettysburg area, Samantha grew up traveling the world with her parents and the Air Force. She calls the Harrisburg area her home but she knows that wherever she lands is where her home and heart will be. Samantha currently resides in Lemoyne with her 8 year old daughter. She loves to share her love of gardening, cooking and running.
Yoga for Samantha is about "Unity" which all souls, all bodies are working together to support the earth's circular being. One unified world is greater than the sum of its parts; it appears as a whole first, before the individual pieces are noticed. Unity to me equals one earth in harmony.
