Sandra has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. She has been a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance since 2008. She originally focused on corporate yoga. Incorporating yoga as part of a company's wellness plan helps with stress management, relaxation and positive energy building for employees.
During a recovery period from a back and neck injury from an automobile accident, Sandra began devoting more time to writing as she explored her other interests. She writes primarily about wine and food but also about other lifestyle topics. She created during this time to follow her attempts to regain her spot on the yogic path while enjoying the lifestyle of a food and wine writer.
After an almost complete recovery, she is now teaching a limited schedule at a private club. She enjoys Houston's thriving yoga community and attends as many workshops and special events as her schedule allows. She has limited availability for substitute teaching.
