A dedicated yogini for the past 15 years, an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), and one of the pioneers of dynamic yoga in Croatia. Sandra is the founder of GaiaYoga school & shala and the director of the first Croatian Teacher Training Program established in 2006.
Life circumstances took her to Milan, Italy when she was only 19, where she earned her degree in fashion design, but also met her Teacher Paris who initiated her on the path of Via Essena and changed her life. She's been an avid Spiritual researcher ever since, having a privilege to travel and meet many Masters from different traditions who inspired her personal growth and the research of awareness and unlimited possibilities of the human being.
Sandra got the blessing to teach yoga from her first Ashtanga & Vinyasa teacher Sonja Rzepski, who certified her in 2005. Up to today she kept studying and teaching yoga continuously, with passion and from the heart. Her thirst for knowledge and understanding of Ashtanga method took her to learn from the most renomated yogis of today: Sharath Rangaswami, Richard Freeman, Lino Miele, David Swenson, Neil Barker, Govinda Kai, Mark Darby, Rolf
Her profound gratitude goes to Paul Dallaghan, her mentor and teacher of Ashtanga and Pranayama, and to Sonja Rzepski. They ignited the dedication and love for Ashtanga Vinyasa style and they keep inspiring her practice and teachings. She is thankful for the privilege of deepening her Pranayama practices directly with Sri Tiwariji, one of the few remaining classical yogis and masters of pranayama, and director of the Kaivalyadham Institute (Lonavla, India).
Sandra teaches in her unique and warm style, giving safe, individually tailored and powerful adjustments, and loving support to her students. Besides teaching classes and TT courses in her shala, she often travels to give workshops, TTCs and retreats around the world.
She is also a certified prenatal teacher, advisor for yoga in Croatia by International Yoga Federation, Master of Paris Energy Method, and certified Chavutti Thirumal therapist. Since 2000 she is the assistant to her Teacher Paris at his Institute for Personal Growth (Turin, Italy).
"Forever grateful to each one of my students, who made me not merely a better, compassionate teacher, but a better human being."
