Sandy's yoga journey began with a yearning to explore her inner-self and to find a way of life that would balance her need for science and spirituality.

After attending several soul-awakening Satyananda yoga retreats in Lebanon, she decided to leave her advertising job, pack up her bags and join the Bihar School of Yoga in India for a 4-month course in advanced yogic studies.

Throughout her yogic living, she discovered that the way to attain happiness in life is to live each and every moment with awareness and gratitude.
The inner transformation and purification she experienced during and after the course awakened a need to spread the power of Satyananda yoga, leading her to enroll in the 200 hours Satyananda Yoga TTC in the Satyanandashram Hellas in Greece.

Sandy aka Hridaya is looking forward to sharing this holistic yoga system with fellow yoga practitioners and those just beginning their own journeys.
