I arrived on Whidbey Island in 1999 after living in such far flung places as Singapore, Chicago, Bangkok, Baton Rouge, and Austin, MN - home of SPAM!
After spraining my back in a serious fall, I began to search for ways to improve my fitness yet accommodate my injuries. Over the years I have earned certification as an instructor of Kundalini Yoga, BodyFlow, BodyJam, Zumba Gold, Tai Chi for Arthritis and Tai Chi for Diabetes in the Sun style. I am also certified as a Yoga Therapist in the Viniyoga tradition, which has enabled me to work individually with people who are recovering from or living with injury or illness.
