I am a Dru Yoga teacher and belong to the Dru Professional Network and the IYN. I offer regular classes as well as one to one lessons for people who can't make my scheduled classes or who feel the need for relaxing and restoring yoga, extra attention or simply want to learn at home. I teach small groups of friends too, and couples.
Dru Yoga is a style of hatha yoga which includes activations to warm you up, Dru sequences (including Sun Salutations but also our own special ones), postures and a relaxation. Pranayama (breathing) and meditation have their place, too, and Dru offers a variety of techniques to explore.
For students who are recovering from illness, injury or childbirth I can adapt my regular class to help you, or offer you an individual lesson or closed group session with your friends. Relaxing and restoring yoga techniques can be included, along with lots of breathing, relaxation and meditation to help you regain your vitality.
I am a qualified massage therapist and Reiki Master/Teacher (UK Reiki Federation member). As well as teaching yoga, I offer therapy treatments - including Indian Head Massage and Ayurveda body massage.
Regular workshops are held both for professional therapists and for yogis who would like to learn massage techniques for use with friends and family.
I run yoga days and half-days for people who don't do yoga and want to find out what it is about! I will also be offering chakra healing, crystal therapy and meditation workshops so look out for those too.
