Sound Site Somatics promotes self-nurture. Lead teacher, Sarah Gray has been teaching and facilitating workshops & community classes since 2015, guiding students to reconnect with themselves & their environment.
Sarah Gray's yoga practice is inspired by Vanda Scaravelli as taught by Helen Noakes, Rupert Johnson, Bill Wood, Gary Carter, and Elizabeth Paunz.
Sarah creates a safe, supportive environment for students to deepen their yoga practice and explore slowing down to find flow in movement. Inspired by a somatic approach, Sarah creates a sacred space to deeply sense and rest and to move toward remembering wholeness. Learn anatomy as you practice to re-learn your body and experience its structures, always guided by our sensing and feeling and acting from the inside.
Sarah has been working for over five years with teacher Rosalyn Maynard, Body-Mind Centering Somatic Movement Educator (SME) at the School of Experiential Learning. Since 2016, Sarah has been training as an SME in Body-Mind Centering in France, Estonia, and the UK. For over ten years Sarah has taken inspiration from somatics practice including Feldenkrais, Contact Improvisation, Elsa Gindlers Human Work, Alexander Technique, and Deep Listening by Pauline Oliveros.
