Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Sarah was a professional dancer before she discovered yoga in 1999. Like so many ex-dancers she got into yoga while looking for a way to stay connected to movement and compliment her outdoor pursuits. She quickly got addicted to Bikram yoga, but soon felt like she needed more. After a brief hiatus to pursue a law degree in Seattle, Sarah rediscovered yoga through her friend and teachers Kristin Tone and Bridget Evans. This time the connection to yoga and her spiritual practice was much deeper, taking her on a journey she never thought possible. Sarah is the founder and managing editor of , is a digital strategy consultant, search strategist and received her 200YTT certification with Tiffany Cruikshank, Yoga Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Sarah teaches vinyasa flow at different studios around Bend, focusing on building strength, alignment, flow and in general, a practice that is a balanced mix of challenge and awareness for each student.
