I started road running and racing in the UK in 2000. Since then I have had three children, run seven marathons, lots of half marathons, 10kms, 5kms and various off-road races. Currently, my main focus is on trail running, around the half marathon distance.
I am lucky enough to live in Rotorua, New Zealand and I train on the beautiful forest trails in that area.
I began attending yoga classes in 2006 when I was pregnant with my oldest son, and I have continued to practice yoga ever since.
I decided to do my yoga teacher training in order to to increase my knowledge and understanding of yoga. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2014 through the International Yoga Teachers Association (NZ). Yoga teaching allows me to share what I have learnt through my training and my personal experience in both running and yoga.
