I have been learning yoga since the sixties aged nine years old. I started teaching in 1989. I teach yoga influenced by mindfulness and compassion training. I am passionate about how yoga can heal discs in the spinal column and so alleviate an enormous number of back problems. I am even more passionate about how yoga can influence the mind via the polyvagul system - so how we use the body can have a direct impact on how we feel and how our neurons fire and heal. This is important for conditions such as depression and PTSD and anxiety and stress disorders.
