My practice began when my son was 9 months old in 2002. I fell in love as I found local teachers that taught me mind opening concepts, and physically rejuvenating practices. As my path unfolded, in July of 2011, I found myself at Mount Madonna, in Watsonville, Ca., immersed in a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Baba Hari Dass, and his many students of 40 + years. I practice to learn, and I teach to learn more about Yoga.
The Ashtanga and Hatha paths are the main influences in my work with Yoga, which explore the deep roots of Classical Yoga. I aim to work with the eight limbs of Yoga and am motivated to teach others about them. Yoga has brought me happiness and peace, strength and faith, and has made my other movement practices easier and more satisfying, with optimal mobility.
My practice as a student and teacher is well rooted in tradition. I do love diversity and welcome new perspective that sheds light to our life questions and to our individual practices. I’ve developed a very real passion for sharing Yoga with adults as well as children.
