Hi, I teach dynamic yoga in Suffolk. If you are interested in private lessons or a group class, please contact me
My interest in yoga originated thirteen years ago with Bikram yoga. I was a convert until the Jivamukti yoga studio opened in Kensal Rise and I was hooked by the magic combination of tough physical yoga and the beautiful chanting of Sanskrit mantras.
Since then I have completed my teacher training in Vinyasa flow yoga, and continue to be influenced by many styles of yoga including hatha, ashtanga, mysore and Scaravelli.
Yoga has always provided me with a sense of calm and an awareness of my body. I love yoga for the dual properties of altering my mental and physical state. During my marathon running phase, I turned to yoga to prevent injury and later on to keep me sane in a pressurised financial sales job in the City.
Now I have made yoga teaching my career and greatly enjoy introducing people to the myriad benefits of yoga. Yoga has changed my life and I hope I can help others to feel more grounded, compassionate and happy. I am grateful to my teachers in the past and future; we never cease in our learning.
As well as yoga, I love most sports especially those on the extreme end such as skiing, surfing and horse riding. I live with my husband Hektor and little girl Za in the beautiful Suffolk countryside near the sea.
Please feel free to get in contact, it would be lovely to hear from you.
