Sejal Shah is E-RYT® 500, YACEP® through Yoga Alliance; recognized as an expert in all four Educational Categories of Yoga Alliance. Sejal has been on the path of yoga and meditation for about 20 years with a dream of world peace and well-being. Having a strong foundation for understanding health, in terms of mind-body-soul state with her training in Homeopathy, Yoga and Ayurveda, she teaches people of all walks of life about healthy living, how to effectively manage their mind and emotions, eliminate stress, live in harmony amid diversity and bring greater peace and joy into their lives. She has facilitated more than 15000 hours of programs in mind-body wellness. She is the former Founder of Wellness and Life Style Excellence Center and a member of Yoga Academic Council at Sri Sri University, India.

She writes regularly on yoga and healthy living in various print and digital media like MindBodyGreen, Huffingtonpost, Yoganonymous, etc. She currently works with Art of Living Foundation, travels around USA and facilitates the Happiness Program (Sudarshan Kriya Yoga), Sri Sri Yoga Retreats, Mind & Meditation Seminars, Teacher Training Programs. Her gentle, loving, and authentic approach brings profoundness in her teaching that helps her students to experience the depth of yoga and its relation to life.

She feels that she is blessed to be studying under the guidance of a living spiritual master, H H Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Happiest and kindest yoga teacher I have ever met

When I take a yoga session from Sejal Shah, I feel very relaxed during after after her class. Sejal has a very kind voice that eases any tension that my mind or body may feel at the very beginning of class. She is very experienced and kind. I do not feel any intimidation in her class. I feel completely in the moment and happy and relaxed.

Sejal is the Absolutely Best Yoga Instructor

Have experienced Sejal's Yoga sessions since she came to the US and she is the most authentic true Yoga Instructor I have ever experienced. She takes you on a Yoga experience to a new level and I highly recommend her after many years of experiencing yoga. She is by far the best.

Art of Living Yoga Teacher review

Sejal was one of the yoga instructors on the Art of Living Theraupetic Yoga course I attended at the Boone retreat center in April 2015. She listened attentively to the problems faced by participants and demonstrated yoga postures and breathing techniques and the knowledge behind it very gently and effectively. She guided us through 2 hours of Sri Sri level 2 yoga from 6:45 to 8:45 AM daily. It would leave every participant with more energy and spirit than at the beginning of the session.


She made the sessions fun by incorporating "Gorilla play" which also made it easier to retain the knowledge & techniques. The emphasis was always on being gentle with the body and fully aware of the breath. Her philosophy of looking at your yoga mat as your very personal microscope into your personality-mind-how you stretch yourself to deal with situations in life, I find very true. I am very grateful for the opportunity to learn from her. Very highly recommended yoga teacher.

Very powerful for the body, mind and soul

Amazing course! Brought balance in the mind, body and soul. Experienced stillness in the mind while movement in the body. It's yoga in its true essence! Highly recommended! Came back completely rejuvenated. I would definitely take this course again!
