I'm a yoga and Pilates teacher who frequently disguises myself as an EFL teacher and mathematics tutor. My yoga journey began when I injured my ACL while practicing wrestling and I needed a way to slowly get my strength back after months of resting my knee. It was through a combination of yoga and Pilates that I managed to rehabilitate this injury without having to undergo surgery.
Both yoga and Pilates taught me how to work on my body by being aware of its alignment. Both taught me how to move with awareness. They also showed me that nothing is permanent. By being more aware of your body and your movement, you can grow stronger and become more balanced and flexible. These are the concepts that I enjoy sharing with my students.
