Shanna Stein is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as a RYT, which means that they completed their yoga teacher training at an active RYS.

Shanna also teaches bellyfit. When she is not doing yoga she is playing with her 2 dogs and husband. She practices yoga every morning and is always inspiring to learn more and expand her knowledge.

Shanna first started taking yoga as a method to lose weight. The mindfulness and body awareness that yoga has given her helped her to lose close to 100 lbs. The meditation has helped her focus her mind on her fitness goals and helped her to be more aware of what she eats.

Shanna wants everyone no matter age, ability, or fitness experience to feel welcome and safe in her classes. She wants to everyone to have the opportunity to experience this amazing practice.

The best review I can write is my first experience with yoga, so here goes.


I was brought up to be wary of things that may distract me from my spiritual life and was warned of the "evils of yoga" and it's strangeness, so when my friend invited me to a yoga class i wasn't too thrilled at the idea but I've decided that I will try anything once so I went. I was nervous that I would hurt myself doing some of the poses because of my limitations or that my soul would suffer in some way because of an unintentional betrayal to my religious upbringing. I laugh at those thoughts now because what happened that day was totally the opposite and nothing short of amazing. Shanna welcomed me with a quiet voice that held the excitement of greeting an old friend. Her voice was calming and her ways of explaining the poses and modifications to them were exactly what I needed to relax and enjoy myself. After that first class I was hooked and Shanna has shown me so many ways to use yoga in my life. I now practice yoga almost every day to help with pain management, to bring calm and peace to a crazy day, as part of my exercise routine, and most importantly as a way to focus my mind on my spiritual life. I look forward to my times of yoga with Shanna as I always learn something new and walk away feeling refreshed and balanced. Shanna has taught me that yoga is not something to be feared but a wonderful way for everyone regardless of age, ability, religious views or season of life to learn about themselves, to love their body and to grow in whatever spiritual journey they have endeavored to take.

Taken yoga from quite a few people. Shanna is my favorite hands down. Love her yoga. Don't know how to describe why it's so great. She just is great at it

Excellent instructor.

Her routines flow perfectly from pose to pose with lots of communication. Already know your poses? You can almost close your eyes and just listen to follow along. If you're a newbie let her know and she'll make sure you can get from pose to pose safely.
