Shannon first stepped onto her mat in college as a Psychology & Criminology major who was interested in the mental health benefits of the practice, as well as finding relief from a chronic injury. However, she quickly learned that there was so much more to this profound practice and that she wanted to explore it, both on and off her mat.
Shannon was based in San Francisco, California until March 2016. She then traveled and taught internationally for the rest of 2016. She is now based in Amsterdam, Netherlands where she teaches private, corporate, and group classes. She is a dedicated yoga teacher who creates classes with a strong flow and focus on bringing clarity to alignment in the body. Shannon teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, & Prenatal classes. She structures her practice to present students with the tools to feel empowered, vibrant, and compassionate towards themselves and others. Shannon always encourages students to “Meet yourself where you are. Be kind. Be you.” because to her, that is yoga.
