I received my 200 hour level Yoga Alliance sanctioned training in 2001 from Integrative Yoga Therapy, and have continued training and studying all aspects of yoga. I have over 10,000 hours experience teaching yoga to students of many ages and fitness levels. I teach adults, children, sports teams, and seniors. My style focuses on breath as the key or portal to your practice so that you may, through direct experience, learn self awareness(proprioception), and proper alignment (biomechanics). These attributes in your practice will allow you to practice safely for the long term, growing your personal practice on all levels. This year I attended Dr. Ray Long's, orthopedic surgeon, founder of Bandha Yoga and author of The Scientific Keys of Yoga, training I love learning from western science and marrying that with the ancient and everlasting traditional yoga teachings.
