Yoga has been a part of my life for many years. I am registered with Yoga Alliance as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. Namaste,

Greetings of the Season to all!

Since surviving 2 Category 5 Hurricanes I have been displaced from my beloved Studio and am trying to regroup. I am beginning to teach in Red Hook in the home of the church Nazareth by the Sea, next to Red Hook Mail in the former Ace Hardware premises. We're calling it the "Ace Space".

I am looking for input for other days & times in order o expand the schedule and reach more Yogis. This is a time of stress, hard work rebuilding & recovery.

Yoga is greatly needed.

Blessings,

Sharon I offer ongoing classes in my home studio ( Caribbean view included), as well as at the Spa in Dreams Sugar Bay Resort. I am available for private sessions in my studio or client's space. I work with folks with many chronic issues such as asthma, COPD, Parkinson's, arthritis, anxiety, stress, and depression combining Restorative Yoga with Pranayama. These students sigh with relief as they release on the supports.
I am honored to customize individual sessions and help my students find "their Yoga". One size does not fit all!

Total relaxation!

Sharon was the teacher that inspired me to become a teacher myself. She has a dedication to her students and continuing her personal study of yoga and her own practice. Her classes will leave you totally relaxed! You will never want to get out of savasana at the end of class!

Grateful Student

I’ve been doing yoga with Sharon for about 10 years now, and it brings huge benefits to my life. Besides strengthening and mobilizing my aging body, the teachings of yoga help me every day – to be calmer, less stressed, better able to deal with people and life from a kind and loving place.
Sharon imparts her considerable knowledge of yoga in many ways and we learn so much, from anatomy, adapting poses, use of props, to Sanskrit terms, meditations and other inspiration. Her studio is a nurturing, relaxing space – Santosha (contentment) indeed! I love her classes. When I practice at home, her teachings echo in my mind. I am forever grateful to Sharon for helping me add the gifts of yoga to my life.

Sharon is an extremely knowledgeable and competent teacher.

I have taken many yoga classes over the years but none compare to the expertise and caring I experience in the restorative yoga class as taught by Sharon. I presented with multiple aches and pains I assumed were just the process of aging and in a mere 3 months I feel years younger than my 64 years. Her technique is gentle and caring and her class is invaluable. She has also been able to teach me breathing and relaxation techniques and has helped reconnect me with my spiritual life.
