Shaunagh is originally from England and has been teaching for the last 15 years in both England and Sri Lanka. Currently teaching full time in Colombo. She has a passion for life and is full of fun and laughter. She makes yoga playful whilst teaching from the heart creating a cozy, intimate and healing space, which allows you to explore your inner and outer space.

Shaunagh is an uplifting teacher

Shaunagh informs me of the benefits of kriya and gives details of the effect of different techniques of different mudra, posture, breath and mantra. I feel uplifted in mind, body and soul because of the practice in her class. I come out feeling connected and whole.

Shaunagh is a very committed teacher, this helps me hold steady to my own practice. She is always there. She listens well and will go out of her way to find kriyas just for my needs.

I particularIy enjoy meditation and breathwork with Shaunagh as I feel carefully guided in a way that allows me to let go and refresh my mind. I highly recommend Shaunagh as a teacher and if you have never tried Kundalini Yoga, experience it.

Relaxing and meditative kundalini yoga

I was so surprised to join Shaunagh's Kundalini class, as the classes were very relaxing and meditative, which suited ny hectic work lifestyle. I have been to many types of yoga classes such as Iyengar yoga and they seem more of a work out than meditative.
Thank you Shaunagh for opening my eyes to this unique style of yoga, and look forward to coming to your next class. Please update me on further classes so I can recommend your special classes.

Brilliant Teacher

I have known Shaunagh for several years and done many yoga classes with her. She is a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher. Shaunagh is an open, friendly, humorous and very down to earth person and this is reflected in her teaching style. What you see if what you get and that is to be in the presence of a wonderful person.

new to yoga?

I am new to yoga. I haven't done any exercise in classes for many years and thought I would try this yoga class as it was not just any yoga class. It includes meditation and yoga which together helps me to keep calm and focused. I love how Shaunagh explains clear instructions and demonstrates the whole class. Taking time for each of her clients and encourages us to work towards our own improvement and goals. She is always smiling and welcoming.


When I have completed a lesson I leave feeling blessed and appreciate the time I have given not only to myself but all the class members as we all leave feeling lighter, energised and unstressed. I also can see the improvement in my own progress and this has given me more confidence to enrol in another fitness class. You don't have to be super bendy, or wear the latest fashion. I have already recommended her classes to friends and colleagues.

Stress relieving and warm presence

Shaunagh is a wonderful teacher who's confidence and warmth ensures that you never feel unnerved and any initial anxiety quickly dissipates after the class has begun. Her peaceful yet relatable approach to the practice ensures that you are always comfortable while doing your yoga practice (even while doing some of the more difficult postures)! Without fail I find myself feeling more relaxed and content within myself after each class.
