Shaye, an avid runner, started practicing Yoga in 1998 after her IT band pulled completely out from her knee during one of her daily urns. Devastated, she stumbled across a Yoga VHS tape and within weeks knew she would someday teach Yoga but didn't know just how yoga would completely transform her life. Today, Shaye is a 23 year veteran in the US Air Force, has her bother her 500 hr RYT and 200 hr ERYT with over 3,000 teaching hours. She is the Creator/Director of the Yogafit for Warriors program helping those with PTSD. She is also part of the Yoga Therapy Educational board for Yogafit and has been instrumental in creating one of the first 1000 hr Yoga Therapy Programs in North America. She leads 12-15 workshops yearly on a wide-range of yoga topics to include Healing Emotional and Physical Trauma through yoga, Yoga for Back Health, Prenatal and Kids Yoga, Yoga for Mental Health and all 200 hr RYT programming for Yogafit
