Shelby Torrese

Hello! My name is Shelby. I'm a Miami native and have just recently settled into the LA area. I received my RYT-200 hour certificate in the Spring of 2014, completed a Mastery of Empowered Leadership program 2014 and an Art of Assisting program in November 2013. Each training took place at within a Baptiste affiliate studio.

My passion for teaching and practicing yoga roots from my commitment to my body and mind. My mother let me tag along to her yoga classes since I was eight years old and I have been dedicated to the practice ever since. My mat keeps me grounded and clear-minded in a world that is seemingly moving at a million miles an hour, and that is the same sense of serenity I hope to bring to my students.
