I have been a student of Sigrid's for over 8 years. She is simple-put an excellent teacher on all levels. And she is funny! Whenever I've had an injury - only once from yoga - she is on top of it and helping me to recover. She teaches how to practice and NOT hurt yourself. She knows her stuff, from philosophy to on the mat and off.

Sigrid is a master teacher

I consider myself fortunate when I am able to take Sigrid's class. Her vast experience is always evident when she explains and adjusts hands on and she has been around long enough to know a lot about practicing safely. One of my favorite things about the way Sigrid teaches is how she is able to give me a simple tangible cue ("lift the inside arch") that a lunkhead like me can hold on to and then link it to a more complex anatomical concept.

Sigrid is always very aware of each of her students and I have discussed with other teachers who are fans of hers how she has the ability to say what each student needs to hear when they can actually hear it. Similarly she teaches to the room's level the limbs of yoga that aren't asana, making that study inviting to some who might be a bit wary normally. Sigrid is funny and reassuring and I always leave her classes feeling great and having learned something that I reflect on each time I practice afterwards.

A True Yogi...

I have had the pleasure to be in her class on and off for the past 8 years. By far she is one the best. From a western point of view her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and alignment is superb.
From an eastern view, she is an a fantastic yogi, and with her teaching you can get to a much deeper level spiritually, which ultimately YOGA is all about!!

Sigrid is the real deal!

Sigrid has shared more life changing information in her class than any teacher I have ever taken. And this is after 13 years of practibg 3-5 times a week with lots of different teachers. She is not just a teacher's teacher but a teacher for anyone who wants a peak experiance every time they come to their mat in Sigrid's classes.
