I have been practising & studying yoga for over 12 years and teaching since 2010. It was following a 10 day Vipassana meditation retreat in 2003 that my life started to take a different course and i went to my first yoga class, and my passion developed from there. My dad started practising yoga over 35 years ago so i suppose it was only a matter of time!
I teach classes and private one to one yoga sessions all over London.
For the last 25 years up until 2013 I have spent most of my career in buying positions including over 20 years in senior buying roles for major high profile retailers. This included negotiating and brand / product category building and developing. I have also previously joint owned and managed a successful city centre restaurant for 3 years and taught canoeing in the south of France.
I have seen first hand during my career, the many benefits that yoga can bring, including helping alleviate symptoms of stress as well as supporting improved sleep patterns particularly after long periods of travelling, With a regular practise, I have also significantly benefited from improved flexibility and movement in my body where there were restrictions, particularly following the effects of a severe femur fracture in my 20's.
