I discovered my love of Yoga in my teenage years practicing Hatha Yoga intermittently until ten years ago. With the demands of four children and a full time job as a mental health nurse practioner and person centred counsellor, I found myself exploring a more regular practice of both yoga and meditation helping me to relax, unwind and strengthen my body.
Suffering with neck and back problems I found my only relief from the pain was my practice of Yoga. Having discovered Hot Yoga my love for this ancient practice of combining body and mind alongside my passion to make it available for all, sort me to undertake Yoga Teacher Training.
My regular Yoga practice also helped me in training for the London Marathon in 2011 keeping my body supple, strong and injury free.
