I first started practicing yoga in 1988 in India with a wonderful teacher called Ambu in Pondicherry and so began a journey that was to change my life. Over the years I have studied with many inspirational teachers and explored different styles. Over time I found that as my body & mind changed I needed different things in my yoga practice. Mostly I needed to slow down, go deeper and explore. I have been greatly influenced by the Heart opening practice of Anusara, the precision and depth of Iyengar, the connection of movement and breath in Astanga and the nurturing benefits of Restorative Yoga. Today my practice is firmly grounded in alignment based practices and meditative/mindful flow. I teach in London at Triyoga, I also teach corporate classes, privates and run retreats.
