I have been practicing yoga three days a week for over 20 years and have been teaching for 10 years. Only after I became injured, did I truly begin to understand the power of Yoga. After I had back, neck and shoulder surgery, I made the decision to become more disciplined with my yoga and meditation practice. I began by taking a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Joschi Yoga Institute. That was the beginning of my journey of self discovery and self study. In 2010, I felt the yearning to go deeper, so I embarked on a 300hr advanced teacher training at Laughing Lotus’ Lotus Flow University. I also studied Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater. In . In 2015, I completed a 500hr advanced “Change Your Life” teacher training with Ragunath Cappo and Sondra Loring. I continue my studies with Tiffany Cruikshank at Yoga Medicine and have completed the function and dysfunction of the spine, hip and shoulder modules. I hope to use my knowledge to help people function better and learn to be the best version of themselves.
