My classes are firmly rooted in the Ashtanga tradition, exploring the primary series through movement with the breath. Elements of Hatha and power flow also influence my teaching style.
My yoga practice began in 2008 in Goa. I was open to the new experience of yoga but did not expect such a life-changing experience. The physical and mental challenges I overcame in that short period literally changed my outlook on life and my body.
Upon returning to the UK, I began practicing yoga 3 times per week and in the last 5 years, I have spent much of my free time pursuing my love for yoga, experimenting with all different kinds of yoga including Hatha, Bikram, Ashtanga and Kundalini.
In August 2012, I spent 5 weeks in Mysore India, completing a Yoga Alliance accredited RYT200 course. I taught weekly classes in Southampton upon my return, then was lucky enough to spend one year teaching yoga on the equator in Kenya!
Classes now take place in the beautifully restored dance studio in Durrington, near Salisbury. Please check my schedule for further details on available classes.
