BA (Hons) in Dance Studies. I am a dancer, natural movement practitioner and meditator. I investigate contemporary and ancient practices that promote a mindful body and explore the nature of the embodied mind. I have trained in Authentic Movement and Therapeutic Presence and in the 'Body and Earth' approach by the
Americans Andrea Olsen and Caryn McHose. I study and practice Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism. In my Movement Meditation classes I try to create a peaceful and non-judgmental space where the participants can explore the expressive elements of non-stylised dance with the contemplative aspects of meditation and mindfulness in sessions include body relaxation, creative expression and breathing meditation.
