Steph has extensive study and experience in rehabilitation, athletic and fitness training. She has also worked alongside physiotherapists providing strength training and rehabilitation for patients including those suffering from MS and Parkinsons.
She completed her yoga teacher training with World Conscious Yoga Family in Rishikesh, India under the guidance of Swami Vishvketu. She then went on to study Ashtanga yoga with John and Lucy Scott.
In 2012 she was selected for a year’s mentorship with Georg Feuerstein and went on to complete an 800-hour yoga philosophy course through Traditional Yoga Studies.
She attends regular yoga workshops with her teacher, John Scott, along with Manju Jois, Nancy Gilgoff and David Swenson to further her knowledge both as a teacher and practitioner.
She believes that by combining movement, breathing, mindfulness, meditation and correct nutrition we are able to achieve greater wellbeing and freedom from pain and dis-ease.
