Steph's a bit of a wild card.
Surrendering her chance at wealth and the man she loved in order to seek a faith, Steph's search brought her to the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico 15 years ago where she met the renowned yoga teacher Brigitte Longueville and found the beginnings of the answers she sought.
For the truth seeker, yoga offered a strategy for life.
Steph discovered that the path to self-knowledge is often a dark one but, as Carl Jung said, "One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light but by making the darkness conscious."
Having progressed largely through self-study, Steph emphasizes the profound effects of following one's own will as a means of achieving the real. This is yoga sadhana and not the mechanical repetition of yoga practice.
Trained in restorative alignment by her teacher and well versed in conquering fear, Steph's classes focus largely on building right strength through effective performance and correct execution. The importance of compassion for one's self cannot be stressed enough. And don't even get her started on the benefits of pranayama!
Presently nomadic, Steph teaches anywhere, anytime to anyone.
