Stephanie’s introduction to yoga started in 1997 and began a life long love affair that has grown deeper throughout the years. After graduating from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a Bachelor of Education, Stephanie pursued her yoga certification with the Yoga Association of Alberta and continues to be an active member. Fuelled by her passion and curiosity, Stephanie has trained around the world with yoga masters for both her personal and professional development, training with Judith Lasater, Susi Hately, Beth McCann, Julie Funk and Rosemary Jeanes Antze.
Influenced by several traditions and inspired by functional movement, Stephanie offers yoga as a way to approach your health with realistic goals and awareness. Her classes are a masterful, candid blend of artful alignment and attention cues for your body, mind and self. Stephanie has a passion for sharing the mental and physical benefits of yoga and wants to ensure that everyone who has a class with her leaves wanting more! Her approach with each student is tailored to their individual needs and goals. She encourages them to be where they are and go from there. Stephanie loves it when her four year old daughter teaches her yoga and tells her to “relax and breathe Momma!”
