I have been practicing since 1998 and quickly began realizing its many benefits including stress reduction, core strengthening and balance (mental and physical) and decided to take the teacher training to share these benefits with others. I completed my teacher training in 2010 and have been consistently teaching since then. My philosophy is that yoga is more than a physical exercise, it is a means to quiet the mind and connect more fully with yourself. It can heighten awareness and develop the intuitive abilities inherent in all of us. Practice, along with an open mind and heart, keep the benefits coming. You will realize better breathing capabilities, greater core strength, better balance, enhanced flexibility, calmness of mind as well as greater body awareness with regular practice. My goal is to safely inspire others to get more in touch with themselves on all levels so that they can realize their full potential as well as to learn to work with physical limitations to make the most of their daily lives.
